With that said, the upcoming OnePlus 6T getting rid of the much celebrated 3.5mm audio jack. According to Carl Pei, Co-founder of OnePlus – completely removing the headphone jack in order to replace its place with a bigger battery, allowing them to also put new technology into the altered product, could be the In-Display fingerprint scanner.

The company OnePlus likely to add USB Type-C port to 3.5mm jack converter in the box. That too, if this report is going to be accurate. On the other hand, the company has fixed the launch date for its upgraded USB Type-C Bullet V2 wireless earbuds for Rs. 1490 in India along with OnePlus 6T shipment.

The company also claims that the Bullet V2 will have several improvements over the 3.5mm headphones and modifications to deliver crisp and powerful sound.

On top, the V2 Bullet earphones are expected to have a DAC in partnership with Cirrus Logic offering higher dynamic range, more powerful bass, higher signal-to-noise ratio, and less background noise.

However, the Type-C Bullets are designed in a way that it can be used with any TypeC port and also pair with OnePlus devices altogether. This allows users to even adjust the sound enhancement configuration for a more customized sound.

In addition to previously leaked information, it has also been confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, making it the first attempt by the company. OnePlus has also released a cryptic teaser hinting the very same in the new reveal.

The company also started teasing a puzzle game on its official Twitter account with a game character and a message; “Crack the code to win the challenge at crackables.oneplus.com.” It’s worth mentioning that here the challenge will start on September 18 at 8 AM EST (5:30 PM IST).

OnePlus 6T Specs Highlights

Talking about its specs, the yet-unannounced OnePlus 6T is said to have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a water-drop notch, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU, 8GB RAM, and Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The device is speculated to have a triple camera setup as well, similar to the OPPO R17 Pro.

Price for the OnePlus 6T is expected to start at US$550 and will ship on October 17th as the leaked screenshot appears to show. We might also see the launch of new OnePlus Bullets wireless headphones at the launch event since it has passed through the FCC recently.
