Panasonic Eluga C With Bezel-Less Display, Dual Camera Module Launched: Price, Specifications

Panasonic Eluga C has now been launched with a 3 side bezel-less design, following the footprints of other companies like Xiaomi and Sharp. Here are the details you need to know about.

The newly launched Eluga C has a bezel-less display and also equipped with a dual camera system to compete with the likes of other smartphones in the market. Otherwise, the smartphone has been debuted in Taiwan with a price-tag of TWD 6,000 (almost Rs 12,900) and is initially available for pre-orders.

Features and Specifications

The Panasonic Eluga C sports a 5.5-inch display that has ultra-thin bezels and demos an HD ?(1280x720p) resolution. Despite the near bezel-design, the screen doesn’t have 18:9 aspect ratio that is quite common nowadays, as most of the full-screen smartphone makers do. However, the display panel does have 450nits of brightness, which would make the on-screen content visible under bright sunlight.

The smartphone Eluga C is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T SoC clocked in at 1.5GHz processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM. On the back, the smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel camera sensor, both have f/2.2 lenses on top. Up front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 lens. The handset also has a fingerprint scanner which is touted to unlock the screen in a short span of 0.3 seconds. It can also record up to five fingerprints.

Storage-wise, there is a 64GB onboard memory space which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Panasonic Eluga C packs a 3000mAh battery, comes bundled with a 7.5W charger. While the smartphone’s design is 5.1mm slim metal frame with a glass finish on the rear. Connectivity options include network support, which has not yet been revealed so.

With the launch of Eluga C, Panasonic appears to have taken a step forward to enter the space of thin-bezel smartphone era. And of course, this smartphone doesn’t even have a premium price-tag like Samsung Galaxy S8 or the Apple’s iPhone X. It nighter comes to the mid-range segment which acquired by the OnePlus 5T. But the Panasonic Eluga C has a design that reminds us the gorgeous Xiaomi Mi MIX and Sharp Aquos Crystal smartphones that brought the trend of bezel-free handsets.
