Pokemon Go Launched In India In Partnership With Reliance Jio Niantic

Finally today, Pokemon Go is now available in India and other parts of South Asia, with a host of countries now able to play one of the biggest Niantic mobile games of the year.

Pokemon Go India release has officially happened on iOS and Android. Here’s everything you need to know and how to get started guide.


As a part of this partnership, Reliance Digital Stores and the company’s select premises in the country will appear as ‘PokeStops’ or ‘Gyms’ within the Pokemon Go game from December 14. Undeniably the most sensational mobile video game of 2016 has finally hit the shelves of iOS App Store and Google Play Store in India.

Pokémon GO, are the interesting times for Niantic and its baby. With new Pokémon being added as we speak, and the promise of more on the way, Niantic desperately trying to revitalize a game that took off in ways that were previously unimaginable, only to see a dramatic slowdown in the number of users playing Sun and Moon game. Recently made changes and additions to the title, Niantic is keen to ensure that everyone who can play Pokémon GO is doing so.

What is Pokémon GO? This is actually a game released for smartphones based on Nintendo’s classic Pokémon games, which was available for both the Android and iOS mobile platforms that uses your phone’s camera to show you cute monsters you can collect for points. Fans of Pokémon games can give Pokémon GO a try right now, after downloading the game from either from the two Play and App Store on their respective device and setting about catching ’em all. For the list of countries in which the game is now available includes Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Users in India can now also play Pokémon GO following the resolution of some additional challenges faced by Niantic.
