Samsung Galaxy C5 With 5.2-Inch 1080p Screen, 4GB RAM, All Metal Body Goes Official

The Samsung Galaxy C5 is now official. It’s the company’s latest smartphone with 6.7mm thick, all metal mid-ranger device and comes under the new “C” Series in China. Announced alongside the Galaxy C7, which we’ll talk about it after this review.


Samsung Galaxy C5 Specifications and Price

It has an upgraded screen of 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display, which is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 SoC and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the company’s own UI on top. Rest of the specs includes 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie shooter and also equipped with a fingerprint sensor under the home button.

It has full metal body and comes with a dual hybrid Dual SIM slot, where ou can use a microSD card to expand internal space on the secondary SIM slot when required, obviously. It comes with NFC support for Samsung Pay.

It will be available to purchase in Gold, Pink Gold, Silver and Grey colors. The Galaxy C5 is priced at 2199 Yuan ($335 / INR 22,520) in India for the 32GB variant, and for the 64GB Galaxy C5, it will set you back for 2399 Yuan ($366 or RS. 24,555). It is now gone live for pre-order via several online stores in China and will go on sale starting from June 17, 2016.
