Officially not, but Samsung has released the Galaxy Core Prime in India. It’s the entry-level Android smartphone now listed on eBay.in and Amazon.in. Priced at Rs. 9,380 ($151) and INR10,200 ($164), respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM onboard. Features a 4.5-inch WVGA 480×800 pixels) LCD display, sports a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing sensor for video calls and Facetime chat.
The Galaxy Core Prime is a dual-SIM smartphone and supports 3G connectivity, offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and HSPA+. With 8GB Internal storage, which can expandable by up to 64GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone was briefly listed on one of the country’s largest e-commerce websites, Flipkart.
