This time again we got to see the full and complete details about unannounced mobile device, the Galaxy S8+ will essentially be a Galaxy S8, but bigger. According to the serial leaker Evan Blass, who taken to Twitter to publish what he believes are the legitimate specs of the Samsung flagship device.

There are no graphics or gimmicks, or renders to go along with that which could give an insight into product design, though we do get a deeper understanding of the hardware’s technical capabilities.

Those eagerly awaiting the release of a new Samsung’s upcoming device, the Galaxy S8+, Blass is suggesting that the leaked device could opt for a 6.2-inch display, but would measure in at 6.1-inches at the “rounded corners”. This means you will get a Edge display, and the display will be Quad HD+ Super AMOLED for stunning visual clarity and experience.

The leaked set of information for what we are calling it of Galaxy S8+ stands still. Keeping with the visual experience, images displayed on those displays will be captured by a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel main camera, and an 8-megapixel forward-facing module.

Other internals includes a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, dedicated microSD card support, an iris scanner, IP68 dust and water-resistance, and wireless charging. In brief, from the security perspective, the Galaxy S8+ will ship equipped with iris scanner (similarly found on Note 7 for an advanced biometric experience that goes beyond just a fingerprint sensor). Samsung will also be looking to build in Samsung Knox to the device, which is ultimately the company’s “defense-grade security platform” which quitely makes the device appealing to enterprise.

The ‘S8+’ hardware is also said to come with support for Samsung Pay, and the earphones are “tuned by AKG”. Additionally published specifications includes information regarding the S8+ will be the first Android phone out there with the Snapdragon 835 SoC. Again, no Android version specified, but expected Android 7.0 Nougat to be running out-of-the-box.

The S8+ will also support wireless charging capabilities, albeit with owners having to purchase the charging pad separately.

It sounds like an extremely capable device, put essentially into a class of its own as the first gadget to ship with the Qualcomm SD835 chipset. All-in-all, specifications aside, what exactly will Samsung produce from an aesthetic point-of-view? As with the iPhone 8, all eyes will be on the exterior and physical presence of this one. As LG G6 also said to be coming powered by the SD 835 processor this month.

Earlier reports although indicated that the Galaxy S8 should hit stores on April 21st, more than a month after the LG G6 to go on sale on March 10th.
