Update for LG G4 has started in its home country and begins with the receiving of the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. First started to roll out in Poland last month, and today the Android 6.0 update has started hitting the LG’s G4 flagship in South Korea.
Without facing any issues, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now rolling out in a major region and that is South Korea, followed by LG didn’t face any issues with the update in the European country, though.
In South Korea, G4 devices with model numbers LG-F500K, LG-F500L, and LG-F500S are currently getting the update. Brings with it the interesting new feature called Doze mode that evidently helps save your device’s battery life, and with better permissions management and microSD support, and more.
Furthermore, G4’s Android Marshmallow update also includes a few LG apps such as Q+ and Bridge, which have also been renamed to Memo Capture+ and AirDrive, rewardingly. As for North America, it may turn out to be the last market to get the update as the process a little time consuming due to carrier certifications and approvals.
