Don’t be so excited when a new update arrives, like the Google’s Android 6.0.1 update which is rolling out is a minor one and most probably includes bug fixes and reports say that it is only made available for Android One handsets with stability improvements.
Owners of Android One phone have reportedly started receiving an official 6.0.1 Marshmallow update that brings all the oft-mentioned increments to the handset. First smartphone to get it was the Cherry Mobile G1 – available in for Philippines.
Currently, we got not other details on what exactly Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is bringing, but it also includes Google’s December security patch.
HTC ROM developer @LlabTooFeR has it that, after 6.0.1, Google is planning to roll out Android 6.1 Marshmallow, though this is expected to happen starting next year. Should be a more important update compared to 6.0.1 version.
