Android 7.0 Nougat OTA Update Hits Android One Phones, Get Downloading


Google has officially started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Android One devices through over-the-air (OTA). It took two weeks to seed the latest update after it was first released for Nexus devices.

The Cerry Mobile G1 user M is one of many to receive the upgrade of Android Nougat and other Android One phones will get the treatment in a couple of weeks.

Similarly like how Android 6.0 Marshmallow was issued, Android One devices receive the latest software update Nougat the day after Google releases the Nexus factory images. With the 7.0 Nougat version of Android brings several new features, like Multi-Window support, Notification Center improvements, Data Saver, Background enhancements, Direct Boot, partial support for over 100 new languages and 25 local speech and more.

For those Android One smartphone owners, there are several manufacturers for that as OEMs such as Micromax, Karbonn, Lava, Intex, and others. Currently, we go no good reason on which Android One devices that Android Nougat 7.0 update will hit first.
