Just after releasing public beta 3 of iOS 9.3.2 to testers, Apple has now released OS X 10.11.5 beta 3 to developers and public beta testers, alongside tvOS 9.2.1 beta 3 for Apple TV 4 to developers registered of Apple Developer Program.
OS X 10.11.5 Beta 3
For developers OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan is a minor update over OS X 10.11.4 which brings under-the-hood improvements, security patches, and of course bug fixes to compatible Macs. June-bound WWDC 2016 launch event not far away now, it’s likely that any major features from here on till Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will be kept for the next version of OS X, which is by the way be rebranded as ‘MacOS’ to keep the OS naming in line with Apple’s iOS, watchOS and tvOS.
This beta 3 seed of OS X 10.11.5 doesn’t appear to include any outward-facing changes but in case we identify anything new, we’ll update this post as well.
tvOS 9.2.1 Beta 3
Pre-release betas of OS X 10.11.5, iOS 9.3.2 and watchOS 2.2.1, also seeds tvOS 9.2.1 for Apple TV 4 with minor updates which brings fixes and performance improvements to the new 4th-generation set-top box from Apple. Today’s beta 3 update for tvOS 9.2.1 also doesn’t include any mindgaming changes expect for the beta 3, we’ll update the post and list the changes below.
You can download the said developer betas either from developer.apple.com or directly as an OTA update from the device itself. Similarly, public betas as available from beta.apple.com or alternatively, directly as an OTA update from the TVs.
