Lenovo is apparently working hard to release Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates for some of its smartphones in the future. Almost all mobile phone makers has announced when they will update their handsets with the latest Android OS, but there is one OEM from China, takes discrition to a new level when it comes to telling users when it will land on their devices. No worrying about Lenovo’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates, as we although have much details regarding that. Lenovo is bringing its updates, and soon.
Enter Lenovo, the Android OEM has yet to make a public announcement though, it did reveal its Marshmallow roadmap during a discrete presentation in China and some photos are now available on the Chinese popular social network, Weibo, disclosing promising information about the update.
Here’s a good news and alongside some photographs, there is one that catches the eye, as it shows when the Marshmallow goodies will arrive on Lenovo phones. A leak (shown below) allegedly revealing the Chinese company’s Marshmallow update roadmap has surfaced online. One of the shots did capture an update roadmap depicting when specific Lenovo handsets will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
Which ones will be getting it is also shown. The list shows up the popular range of Lenovo Vibe X3, the Vibe P1, K3 Note and the A7000+ series. A part of them should receive the update during the first three months of 2016, while a bunch of other Lenovo smartphones must wait until July next year to run the latest mobile operating system of Android.
Lenovo’s K3 Note (international version) will be the first to get updated in March 2016. Next in line seem to be the Chinese variants of Vibe P1, the A7000 and Vibe X3, also scheduled for March updates. Finally, in the month of July 2016, the update will be rolled out to the international variants of the Vibe X3 and A7000 Plus.
Point to be noted is that Lenovo was never been the first choice notr second one in the United States market. However, due to the low-cost and reliability of its devices, its popularity in developing countries is rather high. It’s good to see they are working hard to bring better software to their devices. They do own Motorola now, a company that traditionally gives its clients the latest updates, as quickly as possible.
We’ll let you know as soon as Android 6.0 Marshmallow update goes live on Lenovo smartphones, so stay tuned to know when all the magic will happen.
