Apple has issued an updated version of iOS 10.1.1 14B150 IPSW download for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch device owners. Here are the details about the revised update.
New version of iOS 10.1.1 being released that has a build number of 14B150, while the initial release has 14B100 and with iOS 10.2 being currently in beta testing stage with both developers and public testers rigorously checking out, a revised iOS 10.1.1 release from Apple today.
The new build of iOS 10.1.1 is only available for download through Apple’s servers and cannot be obtained over-the-air at this particular time for those who already installed the first version of iOS 10.1.1. All honesty is a little surprising, what is new in this update?
Apple hasn’t released a changelog or any release notes for it as yet. We’ll add in the details as soon as we get to know more about it, but expected nothing big than an emergancy bug fix release though.
How to update to this new iOS 10.1.1 build in question, as for that make a note that iOS 10.1.1 build 14B150 is now an OTA update. Those interested in installing must do it the old fashioned way by first downloading the IPSW firmware file and later restoring or updating to it using iTunes on a Windows PC or Mac.
