What’s New In iOS 11.1 Beta 5: Release Notes And Changelog Details

Here’s iOS 11.1 beta 5 changes, release notes, and the changelog information. In short, here’s everything you want to know what is changed in the fifth beta of iOS 11.1.

Just a few days after, they released the fifth beta version of iOS 11.1 to developers and public testers altogether. This new version brings lots of new features, such as a redesigned emoji characters onto compatible iPhone and iPad devices.

iOS 11.1 Beta 5 Changes

The previous fourth beta of iOS 11.1 already brings with it 3D Touch App Switcher multitasking gesture and the ability to invoke Cover Sheet via Reachability mode. It also patches the KRACK WiFi vulnerability, too.

Now that Apple has released to download iOS 11.1 beta 5 for both developers registered on Apple Developer Program, as well as to those testers registered on Apple Public Beta Software Program to test it on their devices.

If Apple’s release notes issued today are anything to go by, iOS 11.1 beta 5 appears to be a bug fix release with some under-the-hood improvements to make overall experience smoother than before, just ahead of final release. Comparing the release notes and changelog issued alongside beta 3, beta 4 and beta 5 by Apple confirms the same.

We haven’t yet tested iOS 11.1 beta 5 on our devices to see any user-facing change or feature that is new and worthy of reporting on. If we spot anything in case we’ll let you know. So far, it doesn’t look like iOS 11.1 beta 5 brings anything new to the table when compared to the fourth beta build released only a few days ago.
