Lenovo K4 Note Gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA Update In India

Lenovo has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its newly available Vibe K4 Note in India over-the-air (OTA). Announced that the Android Marshmallow for K4 Note smartphone will bring with it an array of new features and supports, including revamped app permissions, Google Now on Tap, Doze, adoptable storage and many more.

Originally, the Lenovo K4 Note was made available running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, and today in India, for its customers, the China-based manufacturer has announced that its receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The update size is almost 1.6GB (1664MB). To check out if your Vibe K4 Note has also received the update today, you can head over to Settings > About phone > System Update.

Lenovo has also shared the sales numbers for its Vibe K4 Note smartphone and the ANT VR headset in the country. It reads that a total of 6 lakhs (600,000) units of the Note and 150,000 units of the popular ANT VR headsets have already been sold out thus far. Unfortunately, there is no official changelog to highlight the changes that are coming to the phone with the update.
