Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) Receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update In India

The Lenovo-owned company has started pushing out the latest Android 6.0 update to its third-generation Motorola Moto G (2015) model in India. It was announced by the company through its Indian arm on Twitter.


The Android Marshmallow version 6.0 update for Moto G (3rd Gen) weighs 2GB and carries a software version of 24.11.25.en.US. The update roll out in India comes just a week after it started hitting the 2015 Moto G smartphones in the United States and Canada.

Features it brings with it are Doze, Google Now on Tap, and a redesigned app permissions. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Moto G also includes Google’s security patches for the month of December 2015.

You can manually check out by navigating to Settings > About Phone > System Updates on your device and found the update, make a download and install it on your Moto G (3rd Gen) smartphone.
