Unlocked Motorola Moto G (3rd-Gen) Starts Getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Over-The-Air

Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has finally hitting the software update system shelves of Motorola’s unlocked version of Moto G 2015 in the United States and Canada. Motorola has previously issued a soak test for the Marshmallow update, and now some users not in the test are reporting seeing the Android 6.0 update roll out.

Released Android Marshmallow update for its Moto X Style recently, and later, Motorola made that available for its Moto X Play few weeks ago. In an interview, Amit Boni – General Manager of Motorola India has confirmed that the company will start rolling out the update to its Moto G (3rd Gen) in the country pretty soon, so those customers in India holding Moto G 2015 will get the update in the next few weeks over-the-air (OTA).

Update version 24.11.25 for Moto G 3rd-Generation is here, you can manually download 460MB update by heading to Settings > About Phone > System Updates. After updating your 2015 Moto G. Motorola has recently added the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G to list and said that will get the Marshmallow update in Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia, excluding China.
