Apple has released iOS 10/10.0.1 GM for download to public testers, followed by issuing the Golden Mater of macOS Sierra as well. This seed comes after the release of iOS 10 GM, macOS Sierra GM to developers yesterday.
During the event yesterday, Apple has not only confirmed the release date of iOS 10, tvOS 10, watchOS 3 and macOS Sierra, but also made GM seeds of all of its upcoming platforms available to those registered on Apple Developer Program. Officially, today Apple has made iOS 10 GM seed available to those who are registered on Apple Beta Software Program.
Final versions of iOS 10 to general public will hit the Software Update sections over-the-air (OTA) starting September 13, and for macOS Sierra 10.12, should have to wait for few more days, which starts later be released on September 20th.
With iOS 10, Apple is introducing a platform that has many notable changes, including an entirely revamped Messages app, comes with rich notifications, among many other new features. The release of a finished iOS 10 firmware version hitting the phones nearly one week after the company’s fall event, and of course few days ahead of the iPhone 7 release. Alongside iOS 10, the watchOS 3 and tvOS 10 will become available globally to the public this coming September 13 as well, which will likely be 10:00AM Pacific Time.
If you are already running a previous version of iOS 10 public beta on your device, can simply head to Settings > General > Software Update section on your device directly and grab the OTA update from there. For those who aren’t running iOS 10 yet, can either head to beta.apple.com to register and get onto iOS 10 bandwagon, or just wait till next week when Apple releases the final iOS 10 version to everyone worldwide.
Final firmware versions of iOS 10 for compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices is scheduled to release next week on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.

For jailbreakers among you, it’s definitely worth pointing you that there’s no public jailbreak solution available for iOS 10. The last jailbreak was release for iOS 9.2-9.3.3 firmware versions. Although some hackers have demonstrated jailbreaks for iOS 9.3.4, 9.3.5 and even iOS 10 firmware in the past, but haven’t made to public availability as yet. Update beyond iOS 9.3.3 only if you don’t care about jailbreaking. You’ve been warned.
