Directly from Microsoft’s Windows Insider program you will be able to download the latest preview build 10136 of Windows 10 Mobile which brings with it improvement to Cortana, photos and camera enhancements among other features.
The latest update for the Windows 10 Mobile insider preview build is now available to download. But must be one of those part of Windows Insider program by going to Settings > Phone Update to check for the new OS update of Preview build 10136. This new build is only being offered to users who have Windows Phone 8.1 installed on their phone and are on the Windows Insider Fast ring.
What enhancements received by Cortana? The new build 10136 brings with it adjustments to cards in homepage and in the hamburger menu, by adding a dark theme colors to Cortana’s UI, the update includes Flight and package tracking inclusions as it gets updated via email. Also brought alerts for going to work, home and the airport, enabled once again. so when you get an e-mail with flight or package information from supported providers they show up in the Cortana experience and Cortana will also alert you about them. Further you can also ask questions to weather, currency information, stock quotes and more and get the answers directly inline.
Next one is the Photos and Camera enhancements: In the Photos app, tap on a month to get a list of months so that you can quickly “jump” with performance and reliability improvements. By double-tapping it zooms the photos as well, and the latest build 10136 also focuses on the issues of accessing larger scale phones of 5-inch or higher displays. for example, if you’re running this build on a Lumia 640, 640XL, 930, Icon, or 1520 – check out the Lumia Camera Beta and make it your default camera app.
The Lumia Camera Beta is the sample app as the new Windows 10 Camera app but with additional features that sheds light based on Lumia hardware. Press and hold the Start button and your screen will indeed slide down so you can even reach items at the top of your phone’s screen. To slide the screen back up, tap the black space at the top of the screen, or press and hold the Start button again.
