It seems like the US carrier T-Mobile is now pushing out the Androod 6.0 Marshmallow update over-the-air (OTA) for the LG G4 smartphone, as it has started receiving by many users and have reported it already.
If you happen to have an T-Mobile LG G4 hands-on with the model number H811, you may check manually by heading to Settings -> About Phone and check for the new update of Google’s mobile operating system tickling on your device. Or you’ll want to check the LG G4 Bridge PC software for the Marshmallow update.
Yes! The Android Marshmallow update is not available as an OTA download just yet, but there are a number of reports of users being able to boot the software from their computer. For that you have to do a fancy thing like plug in your phone and check for the update, now you should be prompted to get Marshmallow update. Android 6.0 brings the phone’s software to version H81120i, with users currently on H81110n, H81110h, and H81110d receiving the update.
However, T-Mobile has not updated its support page with information about the Marshmallow update for LG G4, but may see the update push out as an OTA download. If you really want to get Marshmallow on your device as sooner as possible, be sure to check the LG Bridge PC software for the update. Otherwise, users should expect the update in the next few weeks.
