How Much Will The iPhone X Screen Repair Costs Without AppleCare+

Want to know about the price if your iPhone X screen damaged with Applecare+ warranty? And what will it cost for a screen repair if out of warranty? Here are the details, which are usually on a hype.

Apple has finally revealed the iPhone X screen repair cost of the all-new OLED phone with price break up for users opting for AppleCare+ and those without it.

Repair cost of the iPhone X screen replacement, however, differs from market to market and country wise. According to the Support page of Apple, iPhone X users will be charged $279 (roughly in India at Rs. 18,000) for a screen repair without Applecare+ warranty in the U.S. It’s worth noting that this rate is only applicable after the standard one-year manufacturing warranty expires.

For other major damages, Apple added that users will have to pay an amount of $549, which is separate from screen repair or damage. Apple also notes, “If your iPhone has additional damage that’s not limited to the screen, see the ‘Other damage’ fees.”

For iPhone X users, you can avoid the exorbitant screen repair cost if they opt for Applecare+ for the device by paying upfront of $199 (almost Rs. 13,000).

How does it work:

However, the screen repair prices apply if the user needs to replace the iPhone X screen due to accidental damage or mishandling. Here’s what the company clarifies is that accidental damage isn’t covered by the Apple warranty. Users will need to pay the repair cost f the iPhone screen gets broken while it’s still under warranty. And it will not get any AppleCare+ coverage. Another scenario where users will have to pay for screen repair is when the screen stops working and the iPhone X isn’t also covered by the Apple warranty or AppleCare+.
