iPhone X Plus With 6.7-Inch OLED Display Shown In Renders [Images]

Apple’s iPhone X launched earlier this month and the rumor mill creating a hype in anticipation of a larger screen successor, partly thanks to its button-less design across both hardware and software. While the 5.8-inch OLED device from Apple, iPhone X arguably has the first face detection authentication system that actually works in Face ID. Now that there’s another prediction claiming that what’s there next year?

Speculations have already begun regarding what will be the next big release from Apple. Many hope it’s a larger iPhone X, and based purely on new renders, that could be absolutely stunning.

Created by designer Martin Hajek, the new renders for the “iPhone X Plus” show the next logical leap for the iPhone X. Rumors already surfaced and distributed across the web that Apple may be set to change things up again in 2018. Kajek has put together a few concept designs showing what a huge 6/.7-inch iPhone X could look like.

Specifically, another iPhone X-based design, but this time with an even bigger design. According to Hajek who used the same ratio, Apple used when going from the iPhone 8 to iPhone 8 Plus display. With the results being an iPhone X, has the same physical footprint as the 8 Plus but with a larger display when compared to that device’s 5.8-inch offering.

Expectations are that what we see today in the iPhone X, is its minimized bezels, all-screen design and the “notch” on top, are sticking around for the foreseeable future. Whatever the new phone Apple launches next year is believed to share the iPhone X design cues. There is no doubt that the finished renders look stunning, whatsoever, while the sheer product size of the iPhone X Plus could be a concern for some.

In fact, it’s the size that matters as it could have the same size as an iPhone 8 Plus that should at least give some comfort to those who may initially fear that an iPhone with such as larger display would be difficult to use. A smartphone with a giant 6.7″ OLED display is almost a full inch bigger than what the current X model offers. Based on what the iPhone X offers in size comparisons, a device with a display measuring in at 6.7-inches would likely have a similar architecture of the iPhone 8 Plus.

With such a big display, would certainly be captivating to look at. Especially with the OLED panel that Apple crafted (and Samsung manufactured), will surely get even better next year. And this isn’t the first time that the iPhone X Plus has been envisioned in rendered form. As we already spotted a 6.4-inch display, for instance.

A recent report indicated that Apple is also planning on launching a pair of new iPhones with similar designs as the iPhone X, and planning to introduce the same with the release of 2018 iPad with Face ID and better camera features. That being said, there is no doubt that this would be a two-handed device, even for those with bigger hands!

If Apple were to debut the iPhone X Plus, we assume that it would likely sell extremely well. The only real question about it has to revolve around price. Bigger screen means a bigger budget and the cost of the iPhone X Plus could go beyond $1,500. With the iPhone X priced at $999, how much would a larger display set customers back? Imagine now!
