Three New Screen-Sizes For iPhone 8 Lineup In Race, Here Are They [Images]

Just today we have discussed about the 2017 iPhone bezel-less display and now followed by another render of the iPhone 8 with 4.7-inch, 5-inch and 5.5-inch screen sizes. All these next-generation edgeless iPhone 8 device sizes will be launching next year as Apple will be celebrating the tenth anniversary. It seems Apple has big plans for that year.

When you compared the iPhone 7 design to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, you may find a little – both in terms of hardware and layout. Now, a Latvian graphic designer and YouTube user Veniamin Geskin have created a mockup giving us an idea of how the upcoming iPhone 8 may look like.

These concept designs however shows up the iPhone 8 in three different sizes and also stresses on how Apple could manage to get rid of the Home button, while embedding the fingerprint sensor and earpiece underneath the display. Citing sources in the supply chain, Nikkei Asian Review reports suggests that along with the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 8, Apple may also release a 5-inch iPhone next year.

This is just their imagination and no actual news, all these are not an official confirmation by Apple. But these smartphone models are expected to come with glass back made by Lens Technology and Biel Crystal manufactory, both of these factories are based in China.

There is lot more to consider about the new iPhone, of course the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. Once Apple could ditch the LCD panels and go for OLED edge-to-edge display, thus allowing them to make these iPhones slightly thinner, and offering more vivid colors at the same time.

If the aforementioned iPhone 8 design is to be trusted then the 4.7-inch model could get a full HD 1080p display, the 5-inch iPhone 8 QHD screen with 2k pixels resolution and the third 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus might get Quad HD with 4K AMOLED screen, not by means.

There would be a wireless charging technology as well for the iPhone 8 in 2017, as Apple hasn’t yet given any clue about that at the moment, though. The Apple Watch did get the inductive charging system and the Magnetic Charging Cable, and that charging solution is a bit slow. Partnering with a startup called Energous, Apple could make wireless charging chip called WattUp, to bring “long lasting charging” on the new iPhone 8 range. This technology is rumored to be able to charge the iPhone from a distance of 15 meters.

To witness all these rumors and speculation alongside predictions and unknown matters, we should have to wait for the iPhone 8 launch in September 2017. Stay tuned!
