Xiaomi has introduced its new Mi product beyond known for best high-end, low-budget phones producer is also responsible for a plethora of additional electronics. Taking the Beijing as headquarters the company has revealed yet another anticipated product to add to its growing lineup. Unveiled Mi TV 2S; a super-thin 4K TV that measures in at just 9.9mm thick.
New Mi TV 2S comes wrapped in a stunning 48-inch frame that looks almost unbelievable from the sides due to it measuring just 9.9mm thickness. It runs on the MUI TV operating system based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi TV 2S is powered by an MStar 6A928 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage it carries.
Compared to Samsung made 4K lossless quality panel, the Mi TV 2S thickness accompained by one of Xiaomi’s own LED backlight components. More remarkable is the marketed quality of the panel when you take into account the price-tag applied to the set. With stunning display, the Mi TV 2S also ships packing quad-core CPU and it comes with enough power and functionality to keep users happy, but is also available with a range of color options to adom the outer metal shell of the unit.
The new Mi TV set from Xiaomi supports latest Dolby sound technology. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. The Mi TV 2S includes HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports while can playback 4K videos at 60fps. Features an all-metal design on the back.
Best part is here to meet; Xiaomi’s 48-inch super-thin new 4K TV will only costs $485, or $645 if consumers opt to purchase the accompanying sound bar speaker. The Mi TV 2S will be available to purchase later this month, July 28 to be precise, within the Chinese market with no announced plans to distribute beyond that at the moment.
Note: The new Xiaomi Mi TV 2S will be available in China in two variants: a Standard edition will be available at CNY 2,999, while a Cinema edition will be available at CNY 3,999. Both the versions will be available starting July 22.

The new Xiaomi Mi TV 2s is priced at 2999 Chinese Yuan (US$ 483) and the Theater edition with woofer and speakers cost 3999 Chinese Yuan (US$ 644). It will go on sale in China from July 28.

The new Mi Water Purifier uses four filters – PP Cotton filter, activated coconut carbon filter (2x) and an RO membrane. Claimed that it can churn out 400 gallons in 1 day. It adds the Mi Water Purifier is compact, with a base area smaller than an A4-sized paper.
The water purifier measures 205x260x410mm and offers 1 litre per minute water flow. It comes with built-in Wi-Fi and can allow users to check the water quality real-time via Android or iOS app. The app can remind users when the filter needs replacement as well as can help buy new filters. The company claims that the process to connect a smartphone to Mi Water Purifier is easy and once connected the phone can search purifier automatically.
