Block you date as Vivo is although planning to launch V5 Plus in India very soon. Now that, the Chinese phone maker has officially sent out invites for the release event on January 23rd, where it will be launching Vivo V5 Plus equipped with two front-facing camera systems, aka dual Selfie sensors.
Vivo also claims that the new V5 Plus would be the world’s first smartphone to feature a pair of front cameras. While the foremost was the hardware by Lenovo, bringing dual front-facing cameras in the Vibe S1 with 8MP primary front camera that captures images and the other 2MP secondary camera on its front played to analyze the depth of field information.
Following the similar strategy, the South Korean firm, LG also introduced V10 with dual 5MP front-facing camera that came with two separate lenses to capture standard 80-degree selfies or wide-angle 120-degree selfies.
Although Vivo has recently debuted V5 smartphone into the Indian market that sports a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens alongside with ‘Moonlight Glow’ capability.
To compete with the likes of other dual-selfie camera offering smartphones, Vivo V5 Plus may become a tough one in this arena. Stay tuned!
