Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 4 In India: Specifications, Price And Comparison

Newly launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is one of the best budget 4G smartphone already been available in China few months ago. Xiaomi’s first product set to launch for the year 2017, the much-awaited successor to the Redmi Note 3, the Redmi Note 4 has marked its space in Indian market, at an event in New Delhi today. Here’s everything you need to know about.

Priced at Rs 9,999 (2GB RAM + 32GB storage), the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 review is what you are been looking for, as it features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with 2.5D glass. The phone will weigh between 160 to 165 grams and will sport a brushed metal body and a fingerprint sensor on its back.

The Darth Maul Phone (aka Redmi Note 4) comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, that costs Rs 12,999 and the 3GB RAM variant with 32GB ROM at Rs 10,999.

On top of the line Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features an unibody design with 151 x 76 x 8.3mm dimensions. It’s easy to grip and carry and doesn’t feel overly big at all. The polished antenna line on the hardware adds to the character of the gadget and gives it a premium appeal.

The Redmi Note 4’s 1920-by-1080 pixels resolution is bright and crisp and soothing to the eyes. The reading mode on the display works like a dream and does not stress your eyes. The smartphone has used a 2.5D glass with round edges which helped Xiaomi to keep the bezels on the phone super thin and offer a good screen to body ratio on the device.

Unlike the Chinese version, the Indain version has no dearth of power as well on the Redmi Note 4 – comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It also offers great multitasking and the Adreno 506 GPU makes sure that you always get best both graphics and speed while gaming.

As it works on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with Xiaomi’s own MIUI 8, which offers stability and ease of use for users with nifty little features. On the camera front, the Redmi Note 4 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone offers a 5-piece, 77-degree wide angle lens that can capture some great details in images and also brings Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) for quick in-focus shots. Low light imaging on the Redmi Note 4 is also improved vs Redmi Note 3.

The device called Redmi Note 4 offers dual-SIM options and support 4G LTE connectivity trends. Overall, the Redmi Note 4 is brilliant and has set a benchmark for affordable phones in India. For security, there’s a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device that works well and can also work as a physical key to click selfies and images on the go.

Now that the 4000mAh battery on the Redmi Note 4 makes the device lasts easily for a day and a half for an average user. When compared to the legacy of long-lasting battery that seen on the Redmi Note 3 and the Redmi 3S Prime is continued to the T on the Redmi Note 4.

Other keys including a hybrid SIM slot and a microSD card also present on the Redmi Note 4 and the fixed-focus 5-megapixel front camera offers some good selfies, but it doesn’t impress at all in low-light conditions.

We have to consider Redmi Note 4, would face big competitors from a phone that is launching next week. The Honor 6X from Huawei’s sub-brand Honor.
