The 3G variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note went on sale in India earlier this month at INR8,999. Xiaomi, aka known as Chinese Apple has announced that the Redmi Note 4G will be made available to buy via Flipkart this December 30, as it promised in the past. Remind you about its inclusions and options that makes it so popular in the Note series right after this fold.
Specifications-wise, the Redmi Note 4G supports TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) alongside also capable to get FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) in India. Xiaomi’s new 4G-enabled Redmi Note is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928)SoC with Adreno 305 GPU for graphics redering, rather than an Octa-Core MediaTek chipset packed in 3G variant.
With only a single-SIM support, The Redmo Note 4G doesn’t come with a dual-SIM like 3G model, but it comes with pre-loaded with Fleksy and SwiftKey keyboards. Coupled with a 2GB of RAM, 8GB ROM, it also comes along with a microSD card slot support (up to 32GB). Runs on MIUI V5 based Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
Camera front on the 4G Redmi Note goes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and capable of recording videos at 1080p, and packs a secondary 5MP front-facing camera sensor as well for Facetime chat and video calls.
Price of the Redmi Note 4G is a bit higher when compared with the 3G version. Priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available from Airtel retail stores across six cities in India. Airtel on the other hand also offering registrations for the handset on their official website. Flikpart pre-orders will begin 6PM today, December 23.
