A New Teaser Xiaomi Released, IsThe Mi Pad 3 Coming?

Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Mi 5c and Redmi Note 4X alongside its first kind of processor, the Pinecone Surge S1 recently. Now, it might be looking ahead to launch the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 in the near future, if the newest information is to be believed. Here are the details.

The Chinese company seems like has teased their upcoming Mi Pad 3 tablet on their official Taobao page, at least according to ITHome. As the source speaks, Xiaomi didn’t directly mention the next gen Mi Pad product though, but has indirectly tipped it’s coming. So that’s what we got to talk about, it seems like the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2’s successor might land in the coming future, and it’s all about time considering that Xiaomi launched the Mi Pad 2 back in November 2015.

What we think is that, No, Xiaomi won’t release a new product this same month, as it has already introduced their first mobile processor, Surge S1, two smartphones “Mi 5c” fueled with the newly announced chip, and the Redmi Note 4X with another mid-range SoC. So, this could also make sense that Xiaomi is looking to equip the chipset inside the Mi Pad 3 as well. It’s possible, but, more likely that Xiaomi might opt to include a more powerful processor in the Mi Pad 3. In that case, we all have to wait for the company’s official confirmation in order to be sure on that, but nevertheless, we do have some leaked specifications info to share with you.

According to previous rumors, the Mi Pad 3 by Xiaomi will sport a 9.7-inch (2048×1536) display, just like its predecessor, it will be only 6.08mm thin, is powered by Intel’s Core M3-7Y90 SoC, and the Xiaomi’s tablet rumored to sport 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. Type-C USB port will certainly be located on the bottom of this tablet, while can also be expected to see 13 or 16-megapixel camera on its back. However, these specs leaked quite some time ago, we don’t take these as official, rather with a grain of salt, because, it is possible that we’ll get a completely different hardware specs sheet.

Stay tuned for more!
