You Can Now Download iOS 10.2.1 Public Beta 1, macOS 10.12.3 From Here

Apple has now made available to download iOS 10.2.1 public beta 1 and macOS Sierra 10.12.3 public beta 1 to those public testers who are registered on Apple’s Beta Software Program. For Mac users, it should be a reminder that the public beta 1 of macOS Sierra can be updated from under ‘Updates‘ tab on the Mac App Store once registered at the Apple’s portal for public beta testers.

Just a day after making iOS 10.2.1 developer beta 1 available to devs registered on Apple Developer Program, alongside the macOS Sierra 10.12.3 beta 1 and tvOS 10.1.1 beta 1 to those registered developers. Public beta 1 seed has released for compatible Macs too.

This release to public testers follows hot on the heels of iOS 10.2.1 and macOS Sierra 10.12.3 in final version from earlier this week. Available to download today, what could be new in iOS 10.2.1 compared to iOS 10.2. Not much has changed with Apple’s official release notes and changelog, only citing nothing more than bug fixes.

It’s likely that iOS 10.2.1 is nothing more than an under-the-hood performance improvement and bug fix release that makes iOS experience smoother on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.

Same goes with the release of macOS Sierra 10.12.3 as well, with under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes very much being the order form factor of the day on compatible iMacs and MacBooks on which the update is available to download.

In order to download iOS 10.2.1 public beta 1, you must first of all be a registered member on Apple Beta Software Program portal at and obviously need to have a configuration profile installed on your iOS device. Once you have it installed and trusted, grabbing the update over OTA is as simple as heading to Settings > General > Software Update on the device and getting onto the latest beta pre-release version.

Something similar goes with the macOS Sierra 10.12.3 public beta 1. Once followed the process, you’re free to grab the update on the Mac App Store under Updates tab.

Happy beta testing!
